ACOMB FEST 2026 organised by ART OF PROTEST will be the first Yorkshire premier mural and community festival, transforming Acomb, York into a massive open air gallery and creative playground.

Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July.  Fifteen venues across Acomb, centering on Front Street.

4 large scale community murals by world renowned artists CURTIS HYLTON, PEACHZZ, SLEDONE and SMUGONE.

RARE Collective is curating the live paint jam in the grounds of the CARLTON TAVERN 

9 artists will create large murals on boards, with DJ sets, audio visual production, an art shop where you can buy work from the 9 mural artists plus RARE merch, an outdoor cocktail bar with mixology plus street food.  RARE will also be curating a 2 month art exhibition at the CROOKED TAP.

10 art installations, creative markets, exhibitions, 30 bands, live performances, interactive community workshops, food, drink and family-friendly activities and more.
